18 Weeks...did I miss something?

I guess I had too many burgers this week! haha. This is what happens when you let your coworkers get a hold of your baby bump pictures! Come January, we'll see how close my bump gets to this. LOL

Is that last night's dinner or a baby in there?

Here is my baby bump at 17 weeks! This was taken only a few days ago so I am now up to date with my blog entries. I would have started taking pictures of my belly sooner but not much was going on...just looked extremely bloaded! Its incredible to feel my abdomen and belly getting bigger everyday! Its really firming up. For the last week or two, I've actually 'felt' pregnant for the first time.

With a neato fetal doppler, Jason was able to detect & record the baby's heartbeat. The 12 week baby clocked in at a whopping 170 beats per minute! Click on the file below to take a listen!

And another one...

Another ultrasound that is! And my has it grown. We went in on Tuesday, July 1st. At 10 weeks, it is a little bit over an inch and now easy to spot on the ultrasound. My prune sized baby is starting to look human!

AND for those of you who were wondering what the baby is going to look like when its born...here is what my friend came up with! hehe

It's really there!

We went to the doctor's on June 9th and had our first ultrasound at 6 weeks! There is an arrow pointing to the bean sized baby. We even got to hear the heart beat. How exciting!

playing catch up...

I am just now starting this blog 4 months into my pregnancy! SOOO for the next several entries I'll be playing catch up!

We found out on May 21st that we were pregnant! Who would have thunk that after trying for only one month we would be so lucky! I'm way more fertile than I thought I was! LOL. We pretty much found out as soon as it was humanly possible. And we owe it all to good 'ol EPT and First Response tests. Now I don't know how weird it is to post these pictures but I'm going to anyway! and yes...these are the ones I peed on...haha

Apon finding out, I immediately went to the doctor and learned that we were 4 weeks at the time. That would bring our conception date to May 7th and our expected delivery date to January 28th, 2009! whoo hoo!
