Our Babymoon!

yes, we went on a babymoon...

Wikipedia defines a babymoon as a vacation taken by a couple that is expecting a baby in order to allow the couple to enjoy a final trip together before the many sleepless nights that usually accompany a newborn baby. Babymoons usually take place at a resort that offers appropriate services like prenatal massage.

We went on our babymoon last weekend and stayed in Canada to see Niagara Falls. The timing was perfect because I'm only a few weeks away from my third trimester AND me and Jason's one year anniversary is next week! We had a very romantic getaway... however, I was extremely uncomfortable on the plane...didn't know what to do with this basketball attached to me! We also walked a whole lot which aggravated my pelvis! haha...other than that, the Niagara Falls was beautiful! I had seen it when I was a child but don't remember too much. It was gorgeous and I enjoyed every minute of it with Daddy to be. It was definitely a great way for us to spend one last vacation together before the little one.

Favorite vacation memory..prancing around the indoor pool with my two piece! I was ALL baby but Jason loved my belly showing for all the world to see! haha

I swear, I have the best view! Won't be able to see my feet for much longer!

O dear...

Us on a boat tour, The Maid of the Mist, taking us to the foot of Niagara Falls. The ponchos didn't help much..we were soaked!

Me at the Butterfly Conservatory. Don't think you can see them in this picture but there were thousands of butterflies fluttering everywhere around us! It was amazing!

my baby bump-kin

We have chosen a name! Actually, I've had this name in mind for a good while now!

When I got pregnant I knew I wanted a tomboy name for a baby girl. How cute is that! I had googled a bunch of tomboy names and these have been on my list long before we knew the gender:

Bailey, Jordyn, Taylor, Cameron, Peyton, Tyler, Danni, Jayden, Joey

After many suggestions, opinions & votes from family and friends, I narrowed down my list and the winner is...TAYLOR! Taylor was a big hit and I couldn't be happier because I am so in love with the name. And ever since I saw her sweet face (3D pics) and have been feeling her movements, nothing suits her more than Taylor to me! It was meant to be!
